Analysis

Overview

Dingo is back, but this time he is blazing into action as one of few damage-oriented healers. His kit heavily encourages building offensively, as healing scales on damage dealt. This opens the oven to very destructive gameplay potential when paired with the Invincibility and Attack buff that he brings to the table.

Strengths

Every Skill Heals

Divine Punishment (S2) & Punishment (S1) both heal the ally with the lowest Health based on the damage dealt, while Sacred Power heals both an ally and himself. Non-AoE Healing can normally succumb to inconsistency-- however, having a heal on each skill helps to balance out this flaw.  

Invincibility

Well-timed Invincibility is already a strong asset to any team. Blaze dingo brings a two man Invincibility to the table on a potential 4 turn cooldown in unison with his naturally high base Speed (for a Soul Weaver). Invincibility also allows  him to disrupt important damage spikes fairly consistently.

Damage-oriented Soul Weaver

Having a damage-centered sustain Hero opens your team up to unique team compositions for both PvE and PvP. Since Divine Punishment (S2) can trigger Punishment (S1), he can not only consistently heal but consistently deal damage, almost acting as a Bloodstone when equipped with daydream joker.

Weaknesses

No Debuff Immunity or Cleanse

A majority of the other popular Soul Weaver options bring one of these benefits, while Blaze Dingo brings neither. This can cause a reliance on another team member to provide these- almost necessary assets to your team compositions.

Daddy's Making Dinner: PvE/PvP

The purpose of this build is for Blaze Dingo to act as quickly as possible and maximize Critical Hits.. This will facilitate the Divine Punishment (S2) and  Punishment (S1) chain activating as frequently as possible, while also promoting fast turnover on the use of Sacred Power (S3). Initially you will want to focus on upgrading Sacred Power (S3) to +3, while anything into his other two skills can be looked at as upgrading both his damage and healing strength.

Team

Core

An example PvE composition. You will want to pair him with heroes who can cover his weak spots while also enabling his frequent healing ability. Given he is not very tanky bringing a Knight who can use aurius is not a bad idea when facing difficult content. Heroes who can defense break will also enable his ability to deal damage and heal more.

Secondary

An Example of a PvP composition. The goal of this team is to enable Ludwig using Blaze Dingo’s Invincibility buff. For a composition like this, you will typically want two Combat Readiness boosters. Thankfully Sacred Power (S3) also offers a two turn Attack buff, so you can leave out any CR booster who provides this in favor of others.
